After selecting a new media storage location, press the Synchronize button to transfer all media to that location and then "Save Config". Media will not be available in the new location until the synchronization process is complete.

Resize images to improve performance and decrease the file size. When you use an image from Media Gallery on the storefront, the smaller image is generated and placed instead of the original. Changing these settings will update all generated images.
